Hey there! I’m Rebecca.
I am a licensed surface pattern designer, wholesaler and manufacturer.
I have been designing and manufacturing my own products for my brand Rebecca Jane Woolbright for the past ten years.
Here’s a fun story: After our honeymoon in Japan, where tiny details mean everything and stationery stores are four floors tall, I came home inspired to try to make my own washi tape. The tiny, compact rolls of colorful, repeating patterns had stolen my heart. The only problem was, there was nowhere to print washi tape in the USA at the time. I started to look overseas and it has been so rewarding.
Was I terrified of manufacturing? YES! I didn’t know a thing about finding a factory or what an MOQ (minimum order quantity) even was.
Was I overwhelmed with all of the choices? YES! Luckily, I had learned that facing the fear was the only way forward.
Was I worried I was going to have a house full of washi tape? ABSOLUTELY! Okay, well, first of all, that is kind of my dream, but it is definitely not my husband’s, so I set to work to find a company with low minimums. And the rest is history. I have been working overseas continuously since my first order and I want to share with you my process to make it less scary and more rewarding!
Let’s take the fear out of manufacturing together!
Listen up.
